Exceptional Professional Training in a Positive Environment, Contemporary Ballet Dallas specializes in Dance Training offering dance programs for the Child & Adult student from 18 months and up, including classes for the totally beginner to advanced, recreational to Pre-Pro, and Professional dancer. Techniques include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip hop, Contemporary, Creative Movement, Parent & Me, Barre, Jazz Funk and more. Strong & awarded Youth Performance Companies with focused group & individual instruction of the highest caliber, and numerous performance opportunities at theaters, festivals, competitions, YAGP, and more. Contemporary is also proud to be the home of the most extensive Adult Dance Program in Dallas, TX offering over 40 classes per week. Contemporary has a lineup of world class instructors and opened its doors in 2005, and is founded, owned & directed by Lindsay DiGiuseppe.
Contemporary has five state of the art studios equipped with Marley and sprung-wood floors. All teaching methods are geared towards injury-free training. Our instructors encourage all dancers to broaden their artistic horizons and realize their creative potential.

Adult
It is never too late to start dancing – and that is why Contemporary Ballet Dallas offers several adult dance and fitness classes from the beginner to the professional. Whatever your skill level, we are sure to have the perfect class for you! We are Dallas’ hub for dance by offering the best variety and quantity of Adult Dance Classes!
Master
We offer master classes of different techniques with guest teachers throughout the year. These are specialized classes and vary in cost, therefore the master classes are paid for separately from children’s monthly tuition or adult’s class cards. Please check back regularly to see upcoming guest teachers and exciting new master classes offered!
Summer / Winter Dance Camps
Contemporary Ballet Dallas offers beginner through advanced monthly workshops & drop-in classes for the Summer (ages 2-18 years), as well as our more focused Summer intensives for ages 10 years and up. Winter Camps & School’s Out Day Camps include all levels and styles Camps.
Performance Ensembles
In addition to the two performance opportunities for school year students, the School offers performance ensemble programs/ companies including its Youth Ballet, Tap Ensemble & Hip Hop company. The selection process for these ensembles is by teacher recommendation or audition, which is held at the end of the prior school year. If a student is new to the school, that student can be evaluated in order to join.
Meet the Director & Instructors
In 2005, Lindsay DiGiuseppe opened the school in Lakewood with a goal of establishing a dance school of the highest caliber, offering various techniques, and in a positive environment to shape dancers as dancers AND as individuals. The School relocated to Mockingbird Lane at the end of 2012 and is beginning the 17th season. Lindsay builds programs for all ages and levels of dancers: preschool/kinder program, recreational classes for all ages, pre-professional program, & the adult program. Lindsay saw the need for an adult dance program in Dallas and today “Contemporary” has the largest adult dance program in the metroplex. The School’s Youth Companies have grown over the years offering opportunities in Youth Ballet Company, Tap Ensemble Company, and Hip hop Company. Lindsay’s students have been accepted for dance into Booker T Washington HSPVA, Point Park University. NYU Tisch School of the Arts, SMU and more. She has had students pursue dance in Musical theater, modern, ballet, and jazz companies, perform for Disney and careers in modeling.
